Horizon is a recently established (2023) wholesale and manufacturing business based in Namibia. While the name Horizon is relatively new, our operating companies and joint venture partners bring decades of experience in the industry. Horizon comprises Horizon Wholesale (Namibia), Lamprecht Ammunition Manufacturing (established in 2015 and producing high-quality shotgun ammunition at its Namibian factory), and partners National Cartridge Company (founded in 1953 as a leading South African ammunition and accessories wholesale business) and Suburban Guns (established in 1953 as a premier Cape Town-based retailer of guns and ammunition).

As the only privately registered and licensed ammunition manufacturer in Namibia, and with a strong legacy and trading record through our partners NCC and Suburban Guns, Horizon is exceptionally well-positioned to support the local Namibian retail market. But we’re not stopping there. Thanks to the recent upgrades to Walvis Bay harbour, an excellent road network connecting Namibia to the rest of the African continent, and highly efficient import/export licensing turnaround times from the Namibian Government, Horizon is strategically positioned to service the wider African market.
